With his third solo exhibition at BC Gallery, Pablo Benzo presents his latest body of works at the new Basel venue. Ever developing his colour palette and technique, we find paintings of even more detail and depth than ever before, with decorated rooms, landscapes outside windows and actual persons (including Pablo’s first self portrait) rather than just faces on objects. With this, the objects from every day life Pablo has used for inspiration, are put in to a new and more figurative context, adding more weight to the objects and painting while his signature cubist style keeps everything in its usual surrealistic, dreamlike state.
